Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated seeks a Regional Facilities Manager for the Midwest. This on-site role in Detroit, MI supports the Area Manager on projects, budgets, and reporting, while ensuring efficient facilities operations across multiple properties.

You will lead a team, oversee vendor performance, manage capital and expense budgets, and drive cost-saving programs. A bachelor’s degree plus 8+ years in facilities management are expected, with strong communication and planning skills a must.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Facilities Management with management/technical emphasis.
• Minimum of 8 years industry experience in facilities management or related
• Knowledge of real estate, telecommunications, furniture, accounting and building systems is helpful.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong analytical capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Support the Area Manager in implementing short and long-term projects for the client project.
• Develop and manage monthly/quarterly/annual reporting for the client.
• Oversee development and management of capital and expense budgets with client liaison.
• Supervise vendor performance and matrix manage technical and administrative staff.
• Assist in annual management planning for buildings within the area.
