Job summary

SIG Susquehanna is seeking a Space Planner / Workplace Strategist to support the Real Estate and Facilities team in planning across the portfolio. You will translate occupancy data and business needs into space plans, test fits, and layouts, coordinating with Workplace Design and HR to ensure alignment with design guidelines.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in Architecture/Interior Design or related field and 5–7+ years of occupancy planning experience with strong CAD and Excel skills, plus

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Facilities Management, or a related field.
• 5–7+ years of occupancy or space planning experience in a corporate setting.
• CAD-based space planning tools: AutoCAD required; Revit/BIM preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
• Experience developing test fits, stacking plans, and occupancy scenarios.
• Knowledge of space planning principles, density metrics, and BOMA standards.
• Experience with IWMS or space management platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead space planning efforts across multiple locations, managing requests from intake through implementation in partnership with Workplace Design.
• Partner closely with Workplace Design and HR to translate occupancy data and planning assumptions into design-ready space plans.
• Develop and maintain space planning standards, methodologies, and documentation for consistency.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for space data, drawings, and occupancy analytics across tools and platforms.
• Translate business requirements into test fits, stacking plans, blocking diagrams, and seating layouts.
• Collaborate with business leaders and HR to understand headcount forecasts and workplace needs.
• Maintain space plans and occupancy records in IWMS and CAD platforms.
• Analyze space utilization, density metrics, and occupancy trends to inform planning decisions.
