Job summary

Village of Ruidoso seeks a Facility Supervisor to oversee day-to-day maintenance operations for buildings, grounds, and parks. You will supervise and schedule maintenance staff, coordinate with Parks & Recreation leadership, and ensure timely, quality service across facilities and events.

You will manage cleaning, restrooms, and contracted services while maintaining public safety and customer service excellence.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent required.
• Four years full-time parks maintenance, with at least three years in a supervisory role preferred.
• Aquatics certification (CPO) within two years from date of hire.
• CPR/First Aid/AED certifications within one year from date of hire.
• Excellent customer service and strong communication skills.
• Proficiency with Windows MS Office; pass drug test and background checks.
• Valid New Mexico driver’s license with acceptable MVR.

Responsibilities

• Supervise facility maintenance employees and custodians; oversee schedules for maintenance work across buildings, parks, cemeteries, and related properties.
• Coordinate with Parks Supervisor and Recreation Supervisor on park facility scheduling and projects.
• Assist with hiring, disciplinary actions, and staff evaluations.
• Assist in budget preparation and monitor departmental expenditures; procure services as needed.
• Oversee vehicle and equipment maintenance; ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
• Provide support for special events and coordinate with other Village departments.
