Job summary

Village of Ruidoso is seeking a Seasonal Recreation Aide to promote and coordinate activities for youth (K-12) and adults at Recreation facilities and outdoor venues. The role works under supervision, with 20–40 hours per week, non-exempt, reporting to the Recreation Coordinator or Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Must be 15 years of age or older.
• Pass criminal history checks and must pass drug/alcohol test.
• Experience with cash handling is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with camps, open gym, pool parties, movie nights, runs, special events and leagues for youth and adults.
• Register participants, answer inquiries and provide information.
• Open/close skating rink daily operations and maintain ice.
• Enforce safety rules and supervise activities to ensure participant safety.
• Coordinate with supervisors and facilities staff for events and programs.
