Job summary

U.S. Facilities, Inc. is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Assistant Project Manager in Philadelphia to oversee operations, maintenance and support services for the OM&S program.

You will work under the OM&S PM and coordinate with administration, planning and procedures to ensure efficient facility operations. The role requires a BS in management, mechanical or electrical engineering with years of field experience, plus strong communication and computer skills.

Qualifications

• BS in management, mechanical or electrical engineering with 5+ years practical field experience in Facility Operations (or another BS with 10+ years in facility management and operation)
• Minimum 3 years in a maintenance administrative capacity, including preventative maintenance, plant operation procedures, manpower utilization, energy management and contract management
• Ability to write well, communicate orally, interface with administration, maintenance and corrections personnel; computer skills required

Responsibilities

• Serve as next in charge to the OM&S PM using IC&S protocol
• Detail duties in the OM&S Position Guide focusing on Operations, Maintenance and Support Services; perform across four positions as required
• Coordinate day-to-day and long-term operations, maintain facility drawings and records, and manage storage and stock control
• Oversee preventative maintenance, repair, and replacement of facility systems; supervise Supervisors and Trades workers
• Coordinate subcontractors and training, manage budgets and procurement, and plan for emergency work by OSSF
