Job summary

U.S. Facilities, Inc. in Philadelphia, PA is seeking a Shift Supervisor to ensure completion of maintenance tasks, direct shift personnel, and manage logs and forms.

The role requires coordinating with managers to troubleshoot issues and keep building systems running smoothly. Candidates should have HVAC, plumbing, electrical and fire protection knowledge, a valid City of Philadelphia Stationary Engineer license and EPA refrigeration certification.

Qualifications

  • Requires at least five years’ experience operating, maintaining, and repairing HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and/or electronic systems.
  • Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and schematic diagrams.
  • Must be able to work in confined spaces and at heights.
  • Ability to lift over 50 lbs.
  • Must work flexible shifts, weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Knowledge of CMMS systems is required.
  • Must conform to city licensing and certification requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee maintenance assignments and supervise shift personnel.
  • Directly instruct crew and ensure completion of maintenance logs and forms.
  • Coordinate tools and equipment use and safety.
  • Troubleshoot problems and communicate with managers.
  • Maintain compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
