Job summary

JLL is seeking a Maintenance & Event Technician in Raleigh, NC to support facilities operations. You will perform building and equipment maintenance, assist with event setup and repairs, and document work in the CMMS system while coordinating with IT, Events, and vendors.

The role requires hands-on skills in plumbing, electrical, painting, and general repairs, with the ability to lift heavy loads and work on-call after hours. Prior experience in apartment maintenance is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; ability to read and follow technical instructions.
• Experience with apartment maintenance, basic plumbing/electrical, and general repairs.
• Proficiency with room tech such as video conferencing devices and scheduling systems.

Responsibilities

• Set up conference rooms and arrange furniture per client needs.
• Complete work orders by internal and client timelines.
• Document work in CMMS and track preventive maintenance.
• Perform minor repairs on lighting, plumbing, walls, doors and fixtures.
• Assist with IT troubleshooting for conference room devices and displays.
• Coordinate with Events, IT and shipping for smooth operations.
