Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher and 5+ years of manufacturing experience in a private, public, government, or military environment.
• Associate's degree or Technical Diploma and 7+ years of manufacturing experience in a private, public, government, or military environment.
• High School Diploma/GED and 9+ years of manufacturing experience in a private, public, government, or military environment.
• Master's degree in a science discipline is advantageous.
• 5 years of experience supporting electrical systems, controls systems, machine shop operations, and/or facilities operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead Maintenance and Tool & Die teams and provide direction on scheduling and assignments for salaried employees and craftspeople.
• Evaluate and provide training, tools, equipment, and information, while maintaining a safe workplace through training reviews.
• Apply broad technical knowledge to address variations in work conditions and supervise process and tool improvements.
• Support automation and disruptive technologies, coordinating advanced training for technicians in controls, PLCs, robotics, laser tech, 3D printing, and vision systems.
• Assess facility and equipment conditions and assist engineers with improvement initiatives.
