Job summary

Solventum- is seeking an Americas Facilities Management Manager to lead IFM across North, Central, and South America. You will coordinate with site leaders, EHS, and finance to ensure safe, compliant and cost-effective operations, while managing budgets and vendor performance.

You will drive preventive maintenance, oversee CMMS/IWMS, and support capital projects with cross-functional partners. Travel may be required for regional coverage and leadership impact.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher and 10+ years in facilities/real estate roles.
  • Alternative: HS diploma with 14+ years in related experience.
  • 10+ years guiding multi-country Americas portfolios and outsourced service providers.

Responsibilities

  • Lead IFM operations across Americas sites and ensure service delivery.
  • Manage hard/soft services including building ops, HVAC, electrical and janitorial.
  • Oversee third-party providers to contracts, KPIs, SLAs and budgets.
  • Drive preventive maintenance, CMMS usage, and asset reliability.
  • Partner with site leadership on budgets, governance, and reporting.
  • Lead supplier reviews and actions to improve cost and reliability.
  • Support business continuity and emergency preparedness.

You will partner with site leaders, business stakeholders, EHS, Procurement, Finance, and external service providers to deliver safe, reliable, compliant, cost-effective, and consistent facility operations. Here, you will make an impact by:Leading integrated facilities management (IFM) operations and service delivery across assigned Americas sites.Managing hard and soft facilities services, including building operations, HVAC, electrical, mechanical, utilities, maintenance, janitorial, landscaping, mailroom, workplace support, and other site services as applicable.Managing third-party facilities service providers to contractual requirements, service levels, KPIs, SLAs, and financial commitments.Driving preventive and predictive maintenance, work-order management, asset reliability, and effective use of CMMS/IWMS and building technology platforms.Partnering with site Facilities Operations leaders while maintaining clear local budget ownership and service accountability.Ensuring facilities operations comply with applicable regulatory, EHS, security, quality, and company standards.Supporting facilities-related capital planning, lifecycle replacement, infrastructure upgrades, and project execution with Engineering, Real Estate, EHS, and business stakeholders.Developing and monitoring operating budgets, forecasts, cost-saving initiatives, and vendor financial performance.Establish consistent operating standards, governance, reporting, and continuous improvement across the region.Leading supplier performance reviews and corrective actions to improve service, productivity, reliability, and cost.Supporting business continuity, emergency preparedness, critical infrastructure reliability, and escalation management.Leading, coaching, and developing regional facilities team members.Financial Oversight and Governance:Partner with finance teams to ensure accurate reconciliation of payments against leases, contracts, and commitments.Identify and address financial gaps, leaks, and inefficiencies in payment workflows.Develop robust reporting and analytics capabilities to track financial health and process performance.Ensure single source of truth database meets requirements of the business and aligns with partner delivery contracting.Your Skills and ExpertiseTo set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree or higher AND 10 years of direct function related experienceORHigh School Diploma/GED AND 14 years of direct function related experienceANDIn addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:Eight (8) years of experience in real estate transactions and facilities managementTen (10) years experience managing multi-country portfolios across the AmericasTen (10) years experience in a role requiring strong negotiation, contract, and financial analysis skillsTen (10) years experience managing outsourced service providersAdditional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:Experience working internally for a large healthcare manufacturing companyExperience working with multiple technology platformsExcellent verbal and written communicationsAbility to communicate, influence, and collaborate across regional stakeholdersStrong business, contract language, and financial acumenDemonstrated leadership experienceWork location:Hybrid Eligible (Job Duties allow for some remote work but require travel to E agan, MN or San Antonio, TX at least 3 days per week)Travel: May include up to 10 % internationalMust be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).Supporting Your Well-beingSolventum offers many programs to help you live your best life – both physically and financially.
