Job summary

Urban Pathways, Inc. is seeking an Operations Supervisor in Bronx, NY. You will report to the Director of Operations and oversee facilities operations, including maintenance, fire safety, kitchen, security, and client services.

You will supervise staff, ensure compliance with safety and funding regulations, and coordinate with management to optimize program delivery. This role requires strong oversight, cross-team collaboration, and commitment to equitable, inclusive practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years building operations and security experience with at least one-year supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience with people experiencing homeless, mental illness and/or substance abuse population preferred.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
• Foreign languages a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee program/facilities operations including maintenance, fire safety, kitchen operations, and security.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies, fire safety guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
• Supervise and train operations, security, maintenance, and kitchen staff; ensure shift coverage.
• Monitor resident safety, medication, and crisis interventions as needed.
• Maintain logs, incident reporting, and documentation in AWARDS and other systems.
• Coordinate with program leadership to meet program goals and client services.
