Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking an Assistant Facility Manager to support the facilities organization at a specified location. The role focuses on day-to-day operations, safety, tenant needs, and program delivery in alignment with client goals.

Responsibilities include supervising maintenance, managing contracts, budgeting, reporting, and coordinating capital planning. Strong communication, financial acumen, and MS Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in facilities management, building, business or related field is required or preferred
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in commercial/industrial real estate facility management
• Experience with budgets, reporting and contract administration preferred
• Certified Facility Manager (CFM) or IFMA/BOMA certifications are a plus

Responsibilities

• Ensure day-to-day operations of facilities including janitorial, life-safety, engineering and site services
• Supervise maintenance programs for interior and exterior conditions
• Respond promptly to tenant requests and coordinate contract programs
• Prepare budgets, financial reports and purchase orders
• Assist in capital budget development and five-year maintenance plans
• Monitor compliance with contracts and insurance requirements
• Inspect facility and report findings to Facility Manager
• Maintain documentation such as Property Information Book and Operating Manuals
