Job summary

AltaOne Federal Credit Union in Ridgecrest, California, is seeking a Facilities Support Specialist to help run day-to-day operations of the Facilities Department. Qualifications

• Two to five years of similar or related experience.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the processing of incoming and outgoing mail and packages and associated records.
• Collect incoming mail from the post office when necessary.
• Manage external vendors for janitorial services, landscaping, security services, and other facilities related contractors.
• Monitor and report on vendor performance to ensure service level agreements are met and resolve issues promptly.
• Provide support in preparing documents, reports, and presentations when needed.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance requests, completed repairs, and inspections.
• Track status of ongoing work or projects and communicate progress to Facilities Supervisor.
• Assist in planning for and setting up meetings, trainings, or events, and ensure proper equipment is in place.
• Answer and direct calls, emails, and other correspondence to the proper departments and individuals.
