Job summary

Community Blood Center of Greater Kansas City is seeking a Facilities Manager to administer regulatory affairs, contracts, leasing, security, and special projects. You will lead maintenance operations, oversee budgeting, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliant, efficient building services across multiple sites.

The role requires strong project management, contract negotiation skills, and knowledge of building systems.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities management and contracting.
• Ability to decipher technical docs, cut-sheets, diagrams and floor plans.
• Construction project management experience preferred.
• Knowledge of building systems including HVAC, automation, and security.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, maintain, negotiate, and revise facilities-related contracts.
• Oversee minor repairs, preventive maintenance, and site operations.
• Coordinate surveys, certifications, and accreditations.
• Assist with project management for departmental priorities and budgets.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies.
