Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in facilities management or related field.
• Five or more years’ experience in a similar position.
• One or more years’ supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance of facilities and equipment.
• Ensure building operations and structural maintenance.
• Ensure regulatory and building code compliance.
• Direct, supervise and evaluate department staff.
• Provide staff management including hiring, development, training and performance management.
• Ensure safe operations and adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Serve as project manager for small scale, short duration projects.
• Develop and manage budgets and inventory systems.
• Manage design and renovation projects.
• Analyze metrics and make improvement recommendations.
• Authorize repairs or replacements and prepare cost estimates.
• Be on-call for building emergencies.
• Ensure facility operational effectiveness and safety.
