Job summary

Banner Health Tucson seeks an experienced Facilities Operations Manager to oversee daily plant operations, development and construction support, maintenance and regulatory compliance across the campus. You will supervise staff, manage workflow, ensure safety and efficiency, and support budgeting while coordinating with leadership on strategic projects.

The role requires experience maintaining facility services, fire/life safety programs, blueprints reading, and at least one year of leadership.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge.
• Three to five years of progressive experience maintaining facility services, fire/life safety equipment and programs and at least one year of leadership experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications and possess a working knowledge of fire, life safety and building codes, materials and standards, regulatory agencies and requirements.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and be eligible for coverage under the company auto insurance policy.
• Strongly prefer an associate’s degree in facility management or related field. Three or more years of previous supervisory experience. Certified Healthcare Facility Manager. Certified Facility Manager.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily plant operations, maintenance, and regulatory compliance to ensure safe and efficient facility performance.
• Supervises staff, manages workflow, and ensures all work meets organizational and compliance standards.
• Supports budgeting, resolves operational issues, and collaborates with leadership on projects and initiatives.
