Job Title: Facilities Operations Manager

Corporate Site Services (CSS) scope is broad and includes maintaining Qorvo sites, offices, labs, and factories, as well as onsite services and experiences that help Qorvo employees stay safe, secure, and productive. The Facilities Operations Manager plays a critical role within the overall CSS scope.

The Campbell Road CSS Facilities Operations Manager is responsible for the safe, reliable, and cost-effective facilities maintenance and operation of Campbell 24x7 facilities. The manager will oversee a staff of contractors and leverage multiple key contractors for specialized tasks.

This role also involves implementing the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), used to schedule and track all maintenance on facilities systems. The manager will analyze CMMS data and generate reports to aid in performance trend analysis.

The position reports directly to the Richardson Corporate Site Services Director.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage all aspects of Facilities Operations and supervise/lead Facilities technicians and contractors. Critical systems include DI Water, chillers, boilers, HVAC, process exhaust, process cooling water, and PVAC.
2. Responsible for all building space planning and relocations.
3. Utilize CMMS to drive Preventive and Predictive Maintenance programs for all critical facilities systems.
4. Focus on achieving Facilities KPIs, including Safety (No recordables), Environmental Impacts (Zero), Production Interruptions (Zero), and cost performance targets.
5. Support EHS in reporting facilities metrics; ensure compliance with critical Environmental Permits.
6. Lead daily operations meetings; coordinate communication of critical tasks among operations, maintenance, controls, and engineering teams using the SIPP system.
7. Evaluate the performance of direct reports and contractors/vendors against established expectations.
8. Coordinate with Lab Operations for scheduling impacts through the Non-Standard Work program.
9. Collaborate with the Cross-Site Qorvo Site Services team to share best practices and learnings.
10. Apply Lean concepts to identify opportunities for continuous improvement in safety, cost, quality, efficiency, and performance.
11. Support long-term Facilities Asset Management & Capex Planning.
12. Support 6S strategy and continuous improvement activities.
13. Manage supplier performance and costs; monitor and manage POs to ensure scope compliance.
14. Oversee site Security Captain and security team.
15. Stay updated on industry trends related to maintenance and system performance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management or Engineering.
• 8+ years of experience in facilities operations, engineering, manufacturing, or maintenance (with possible exceptions for advanced degrees).
• Strong analytical skills and experience in 8D/root cause problem solving.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask.
• Demonstrated supervisory experience.
• Motivated, self-directed, and adaptable team player.
• Excellent communication skills across organizational levels.
• Leadership and influencing skills; capable of driving team development.
• Experience with CMMS and maintenance planning execution.
• Experience in semiconductor facilities or similar manufacturing environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge/experience with DI Water Systems is a plus.
