Job summary

The role involves budgeting, developing preventive maintenance plans, handling bid documents, and enforcing safety policies.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in building maintenance operations with supervision.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, and cost-control skills.
• Experience with government contracting and bid processes.
• Knowledge of OSHA and environmental regulations.
• Experience recruiting, training, and developing staff.
• Ability to manage facilities operations and vendor relationships.
• Proficient in safety planning and PPE management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the Facilities Maintenance team and contractors.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs.
• Monitor budgets, forecast costs, and adjust expenditures.
• Prepare bid documents and manage government contracting.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and PPE use.
• Maintain records, reports, and performance appraisals.
• Coordinate with departments and the public to ensure service quality.
