Job summary

Clayton County is seeking a Facilities Service Manager to oversee day-to-day maintenance, repairs, renovations, and services for county buildings. The role supervises facilities staff, coordinates internal resources and outside contractors, and ensures work orders are completed safely and to standard.

The position requires CMMS administration, workload forecasting, and strong leadership to maintain safety, reliability, and compliance with codes and county policies.

Qualifications

• Six (6) years of progressively responsible experience in building or facilities maintenance with supervision.
• Valid Georgia driver's license.
• Equivalency may be considered with education and training.

Responsibilities

• Review and monitor maintenance work orders from initiation to completion.
• Administer CMMS for accurate work-order documentation and scheduling.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and inspectors to ensure quality and safety.
• Plan, forecast, and schedule short- and long-term maintenance workloads.
