Job summary

Coast Transit Authority in Gulfport, MS, seeks a General Maintenance Supervisor to oversee daily operations and maintenance of CTA facilities. The role involves repairs, inspections, and coordinating with contractors and vendors, with on-call responsibilities 24/7.

The candidate should have strong carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC knowledge, plus solid communication and leadership skills. Experience in facility support, 7–10 years preferred, and a valid MS driver license.

Qualifications

• Requires sustained physical endurance to lift up to 75 lbs and perform inspections.
• Proficient reading, writing, and following directions and policies (EPA/OSHA).
• Strong written and oral communication, and ability to work with office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise janitorial work and inspect facilities regularly.
• Manage General Maintenance program and supervise employees; allocate resources and evaluate performance.
• Perform maintenance and repairs as needed across CTA facilities, bus stops, benches, etc.
