Qualifications

  • 5+ years of commercial building maintenance experience.
  • 2+ years supervising maintenance personnel.
  • Ability to read work orders and construction drawings.
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to pass required background screening.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily activities of maintenance technicians.
  • Assign and prioritize work orders.
  • Monitor employee attendance and productivity.
  • Train and mentor maintenance personnel.

Location: Baltimore City, MD (Maryland Transit Administration Light Rail Facilities)

Position Summary

OTAS is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead a team responsible for maintaining Maryland Transit Administration (MTA) light rail facilities, stations, maintenance shops, and support buildings. This position is ideal for a hands‑on leader with experience supervising commercial maintenance personnel in a fast‑paced environment.

The successful candidate will coordinate daily work assignments, ensure quality workmanship, maintain a safe work environment, and serve as the primary point of contact between field personnel and project management.

Primary Responsibilities
Team Leadership
  • Supervise daily activities of maintenance technicians.
  • Assign and prioritize work orders.
  • Monitor employee attendance and productivity.
  • Train and mentor maintenance personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with company and MTA policies.
  • Conduct daily safety meetings and toolbox talks.
  • Maintain accurate daily reports and documentation.
Building Maintenance

Supervise and perform maintenance and repairs involving:

Correct deficiencies identified during inspections.

Administrative Responsibilities

Qualifications

Preferred qualifications include:

Physical Requirements
