The Maintenance Specialist ensures that buildings, grounds, and equipment are well-maintained and fully functional by performing repairs, preventative maintenance, and inspections. This position is responsible for fixing plumbing and electrical systems, maintaining HVAC equipment, and addressing safety and compliance needs. Additionally, this position keeps facilities clean, safe, and operational while coordinating with contractors and managing maintenance supplies.

General Maintenance

• Conducts routine inspections of buildings and facilities to identify and address maintenance needs.
• Oversees preventative maintenance tasks, such as replacing filters, testing systems, and lubricating equipment.
• Diagnoses the source of failures and makes necessary repairs as needed to return to service, minimizing downtime.
• Observes equipment in operation to prevent or diagnose potential issues.

Safety and Compliance

• Adheres to safety regulations and ensures facilities meet local codes and standards.
• Keeps records of maintenance schedules, repairs, and inspections for compliance purposes.
• Maintains an inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies, and reorders as necessary.
• Reports facility-related concerns to management and proposes improvement plans.
• Maintains a clean and orderly work area, returning tools, equipment, and supplies to the appropriate storage areas after each assignment.

Additional Responsibilities

• Assists the production team with daily tasks as needed.
• All other duties as assigned.
