Job summary

Element Solutions Inc, through its MAES unit, seeks an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee R&D site infrastructure, safety, and operational reliability. You will ensure facilities, utilities, and site services comply with regulatory standards and achieve high availability for manufacturing operations.

The role requires hands-on leadership, 5+ years in facilities management, and strong collaboration with Manufacturing, Engineering, EHS, and Supply Chain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in facilities management, operations, or a related role.
• Experience managing teams and overseeing vendors/contractors.
• Knowledge of building systems, maintenance procedures, and industry best practices.
• Certifications (preferred): Facilities Management (IFMA/BOMA), OSHA, LEED are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of plant facilities, including utilities (steam, HVAC, compressed air, water treatment, electrical systems).
• Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Lead site-level capital expenditure projects related to facilities upgrades and compliance improvements.
• Identify and implement energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives.
• Ensure facilities operations comply with local regulatory requirements and internal EHS policies.
• Support audits and timely closure of findings.
• Negotiate contracts and manage service-level agreements.
• Partner with Manufacturing, Engineering, EHS, and Supply Chain to support production continuity.
• Develop and manage the facilities and operations budget and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Promote sustainability practices such as energy efficiency and waste reduction.
• Lead emergency response efforts during facility-related incidents.
