Job summary

EMCOR Facilities Services is seeking a Facilities Manager to lead day-to-day operations, maintenance, and appearance of assigned office and laboratory facilities. You will supervise facility personnel, technicians, and service providers to ensure safe and compliant operation of building systems while delivering a high-quality workplace experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in FM, Engineering, Building Operations or related field.
• 3–5+ years in facility management or building operations with leadership.
• Experience with office, laboratory, healthcare or industrial facilities preferred.
• Experience supervising facility personnel and managing service providers.
• Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and building maintenance.
• Strong communication, organizational and customer service skills.
• Professional credentials such as FMP, CFM, BOMI, OSHA or equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and maintenance instructions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and maintenance of assigned facilities to ensure safety and reliability.
• Lead facility staff, assign work, coach, evaluate performance and develop talent.
• Manage on-site service providers and contractors, monitor performance and safety.
• Coordinate maintenance schedules, planned projects, and budget planning.
• Maintain building appearance and workplace experience for occupants.
• Inspect quality and regulatory compliance, review work orders and reports.
• Communicate status to stakeholders and support a customer-focused culture.
• Ensure health, safety and risk management compliance across sites.
