Job summary

EMCOR Group, Inc. is seeking an Associate Facilities Manager to support day-to-day operation, maintenance, and reliability of campus-wide building systems and infrastructure.

You will coordinate maintenance activities, oversee vendor services, and assist with facility improvement initiatives across office, lab, and support spaces. You will monitor BAS/EMS, respond to alarms, and work with internal teams to ensure safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering Technology, Building Operations, or a related discipline.
• Experience supporting laboratory, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, higher education, or research facilities.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, schedule, and oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities for building systems under vendor service contracts.
• Assist in identifying system deficiencies and recommending corrective actions and long-term solutions.
• Manage daily interactions with contractors and service providers supporting HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life safety systems.
• Coordinate vendor scheduling and access while minimizing disruption to occupants and operations.
• Submit, track, and complete work requests through the facility management system.
• Monitor Building Automation Systems and alarm monitoring platforms; investigate alarms and coordinate troubleshooting.
