Job summary

Argonne National Laboratory is seeking an Operations Supervisor-Facility Maintenance to lead the daily operation, maintenance and repair of site buildings and systems across the Argonne campus. The role oversees five foremen and 40 union mechanics, with responsibility for CMMS updates and budgetary control while ensuring safety and reliability.

Experience with CMMS and budgeting within a union workforce.
Strong data collection and analysis for senior management reporting.

Responsibilities

Direct the daily operation, maintenance and repair of site buildings and systems (HVAC, electrical, structural, utilities).
Supervise five foremen and 40 union building maintenance mechanics indirectly.
Review and update CMMS system and control expenditures within the operational budget.
Provide technical direction and prioritization to direct reports and customers to ensure safe, on‑time services.
Ensure preventive, recurring and corrective maintenance is performed and reduce unplanned outages.
