Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical systems including compressors and pumping equipment.
• Minimum of 1 year or equivalent or related experience in operating steam plant equipment.
• Ability to work in a team environment; good oral and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Starts, stops, and operates all steam plant and CHP equipment.
• Performs preventative maintenance and equipment inspections as assigned.
• Handles all steam plant chemicals for boiler water treatment.
• Cleans assigned auxiliary areas and equipment as assigned.
• Performs routine inspections and readings for proper operation.
• Assists the Stationary Engineer as required.
