Argonne National Laboratory seeks a Maintenance Mechanic II under general supervision to perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and operating functions on building and utility electrical and mechanical systems, including HVAC, electrical and plumbing. The role supports the Maintenance Mechanic I and adheres to ESHQ and security policies.

A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with preferred HVAC training. Union pay scales apply; comprehensive benefits are offered.

Formación

• Perform preventive maintenance on building and utility electrical and mechanical systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing).
• Assist the Maintenance Mechanic I in maintenance and repair of building systems.
• Adhere to environmental safety health and quality (ESHQ) and security policies.
• Ability to work under supervision and perform other duties as assigned.
• Knowledge/experience in HVAC, building structures, utilities, electrical and mechanical systems.
