Under the general supervision of a Building Maintenance Foreman, the Maintenance Mechanic II performs preventive maintenance, operational functions, and minor repairs to building and utility electrical and mechanical systems and structures (e.g., HVAC, electrical, plumbing).
High school diploma or equivalent, preferably with attendance in an HVAC training program.
This is a union position. Pay is determined by the collective bargaining agreement. The hourly rate for a Maintenance Mechanic II is $35.79. The hourly rate for a Maintenance Mechanic I is $43.83. Salary placement depends on the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
