Job summary

Harboroaks is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee maintenance of facilities and equipment, ensure regulatory compliance, and lead a team responsible for building operations. The role includes budgeting, staff development, and coordinating small-scale renovation projects.

You will monitor safety standards, manage cost estimates, and act as on-call for emergencies. A degree in facilities management or operations and 5+ years of related experience are required, with supervisory experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in facilities management or operations.
• Five or more years’ experience in similar position.
• One or more years’ supervisory experience preferred.
• Valid state driver's license.
• CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required (training available upon hire).
• First aid may be required depending on state or facility.
• CHFM certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage activities involved in maintenance of facilities and equipment.
• Oversee building operations including structural maintenance.
• Ensure regulatory and building code compliance.
• Direct, supervise and evaluate department staff.
• Provide staff management including hiring, development and training.
• Ensure safe operations and regulatory compliance.
• Serve as project manager for small scale, short duration projects.
• Develop and manage budget and inventory systems.
• Manage design and renovation projects for the facility.
• Analyze metrics and recommend improvements.
• Authorize repairs or replacements and prepare cost estimates.
• Be on-call for building emergencies.
• Ensure facility operational effectiveness and safety.
