Harboroaks in Nashville, TN seeks a maintenance technician to perform routine and specific maintenance on facility and equipment, including plumbing, carpentry, painting and mechanical repairs. The role requires hands-on work and adherence to safety procedures.

You will follow preventive maintenance schedules, inspect and maintain emergency power equipment, fire alarm systems, lighting, and plumbing fixtures, and you must be able to climb a ladder and lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in maintenance or facility operations required.
• Knowledge of standard practices, procedures and tools in the general building/maintenance trades preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform general maintenance and repair to facility and equipment including plumbing, carpentry, painting and mechanical repair.
• Back-up for call person in case of emergency; respond timely and appropriately.
• Handle equipment safely; use tools properly.
• Operate hand and power tools safely.
• Follow preventive maintenance schedule and complete reports.
• Inspect and maintain emergency power equipment, generator weekly; inspect fire alarm system; test extinguishers monthly; inspect lighting system.
• Inspect and maintain plumbing system; repair fixtures; refinishing furniture.
• Must be able to climb a ladder.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs.
• Perform other functions as assigned.
