Job summary

JLL in Flat Rock, MI is seeking a Facilities Manager to lead plant operations, safety programs, and regulatory compliance, reporting to the Regional Manager and Account Director. You will manage maintenance, vendor activities, budgets, and KPI tracking to ensure quality facility services.

The role requires 5+ years in facilities management, strong leadership, and proficiency with CMMS/Work Order systems, MS Office and SharePoint. A related engineering degree and CFM certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• At least five years in facility management or plant operations.
• Experience supervising administrative and unionized staff.
• Strong budgeting and financial oversight.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Proficiency with CMMS/Work Order systems and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct the plant operations team and ensure programs (maintenance, safety, compliance) run efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with Master Services Agreement and amendments.
• Manage operational facilities spend within approved budgets.
• Track KPI/SLA performance and propose corrective actions.
• Oversee maintenance projects and vendor activities for critical ops.
• Train staff in approved maintenance practices and maintain safe work environment.
• Ensure building systems comply with state/federal/local regulations.
• Support risk and hazardous materials management practices.
