The YMCA seeks a Facilities Director to lead and advance operations across multiple properties, applying hands-on expertise and strategic leadership to maintain and improve all branch facilities.

The role includes coordinating preventive maintenance, safety compliance, staff development and budget management, while ensuring consistent standards across locations and collaborating with program directors on capital plans and regulatory requirements.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in facility management or related field.
• Five+ years’ experience in facility management or closely related field.
• Knowledge of HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems; ability to perform basic maintenance.
• Strong supervision, budget management and project management skills.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate facility and vehicle maintenance, including preventive maintenance.
• Respond to work orders, triage, delegate, and escalate major issues as needed.
• Maintain consistency in maintenance standards across locations.
• Conduct regular inspections and document maintenance needs.
• Perform minor maintenance tasks (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC).
• Manage vendor contracts and oversee contractors on site.
• Ensure safety compliance and manage facility security and inventories.
