Work Location: On Site Andover MA. Onsite: Employees who are working in onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.
Subject matter expertise of plumbing and mechanical systems, with a working knowledge of HVAC, building automation systems, building controls and plumbing. Provide front line leadership to site represented plumbing trades to include verbal and written instruction, project management, timekeeping, training, conduct safety toolbox talks, perform safety evaluations/JHA’s, ensure employees follow company and safety policies. Ensure work is performed in compliance with OSHA regulations, Massachusetts Plumbing Code (248 CMR), applicable building codes, environmental regulations, and RTX safety policies. Plan, coordinate, and oversee preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, capital improvement projects, and contractor activities to minimize operational disruptions. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with represented employees, union leadership, contractors, engineering staff, and internal customers while promoting a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement. Perform work with minimal direction, communicate and collaborate well with team members, Management, Security, EHS, internal customers, and the bargaining unit Cover off-hours events.
Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in all aspects of facilities maintenance and construction to include carpentry, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, sheetmetal, and janitorial and a bachelor’s degree in Operations, Facilities, Business or related discipline or equivalent combination of related work experience and schooling in lieu of degree. Active Massachusetts’s Master and Journeyman Plumbing Licenses. Working knowledge of fire protection systems including wet & dry sprinkler systems and specialty suppression. 5+ years of supervisory, lead, or management experience directing skilled trades personnel in a union and/or industrial environment. Knowledge of Massachusetts and National Building codes. 2+ years’ experience with interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, plumbing schematics, and construction documents. Must be a U.S. Citizen. This position may require access to systems/tools/sites that are restricted to individuals who possess a US citizenship. This position requires the eligibility to obtain and maintain a security clearance. Except in rare circumstances, only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
