Job summary

City of Orlando Careers seeks a Facilities Project Coordinator to support the Facility Manager across Kia Center, Camping World Stadium, Leu Gardens, and Mennello Museum of American Art. This hands-on role manages maintenance, repairs, and building systems to keep venues safe, operational, and event-ready.

You will collaborate with maintenance staff, engineers, vendors, and contractors, perform inspections, troubleshoot issues, and assist with project planning and scheduling, including

Qualifications

• Associate degree or trade school certification in Facility Management, Building Maintenance, Construction Technology, Mechanical Systems, or related field.
• Four years of experience in facility maintenance, building operations, construction, mechanical systems, or public venue operations.
• Two years of supervisory or lead experience required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, supervise, and participate in maintenance and repair projects across City of Orlando venues (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, structural, mechanical equipment, doors and fire safety).
• Perform hands-on troubleshooting, repairs, adjustments, and operational support for building equipment and facility systems.
• Use tools and safety equipment to inspect, diagnose, and repair facilities.
