Job summary

Oracle Elementary District is seeking an Operations Supervisor to oversee facilities maintenance and custodial operations for Mt. Vista K-8 School and district facilities.

You will supervise staff, perform hands-on maintenance, and coordinate with contractors to ensure safe, clean, and well‑maintained campuses. The role requires overseeing preventive maintenance, prioritizing work orders, and maintaining records while ensuring compliance with district policies and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Required High school diploma or equivalent.
• Demonstrated experience in facilities management, building maintenance, custodial operations, construction, or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated knowledge of general building maintenance and repair.
• Ability to supervise, direct, and work collaboratively with maintenance and custodial employees.
• Ability to perform physical maintenance duties and operate common maintenance tools and equipment safely.
• Ability to prioritize multiple maintenance and operational needs.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and complete purchasing and administrative paperwork.
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with employees, District administration, vendors, contractors, and members of the public.

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance and custodial staff; develop schedules and monitor completion.
• Perform hands-on maintenance and repairs across campus facilities.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors; obtain estimates and oversee service calls.
• Maintain records, purchasing paperwork, and cost-tracking for maintenance activities.
