Job summary

Legends Global in Columbus, OH is seeking an Assistant Facility Manager for the Greater Columbus Convention Center. You will assist the Facility Manager, supervise facility engineers, and actively manage resources to keep building systems running smoothly.

The role requires technical competence as well as people management and leadership skills. You will coordinate with Engineering and other departments, ensure safety, and develop preventive maintenance plans and SOPs.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to work irregular/extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Requires a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Facility Manager with hiring, supervising, training, and disciplining personnel.
• Supervise full-time facility engineering staff and ensure deadlines are met.
• Develop emergency action plans and coordinate repairs to facility systems.
• Maintain safety for all guests and staff; ensure compliance with codes.
• Create, implement, and maintain PM programs for HVAC, electrical, and other systems.
