Responsibilities

• Oversee daily facility operations and transportation activities.
• Supervise, train, and motivate drivers, warehouse personnel and staff.
• Coordinate delivery schedules and ensure driver and equipment availability.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and federal, state, and local regulations.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, vendors and partners.
• Provide coaching and performance feedback to employees.
• Participate in strategic planning and improvement initiatives
• Provide operational support and perform other duties as assigned by the facility manager.

Pathmark Transportation is looking for a skilled and dedicated Assistant Facility Manager.

An Assistant facility manager supports the daily operations of a transportation facility, ensuring the efficient movement of retail delivers and other freight. The role works closely with the facility manager to oversee staff, coordinate schedules, Maintain regulatory compliance and ensure the facility operates safety and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing Daily Facility operations and transportation acclivities.
• Supervise, Train, and Motivate drivers, Warehouse Personnel and Facility Staff.
• Coordinate delivery schedules, and ensure adequate driver and equipment availability.
• Monitor compliance with company policies and federal, state, and local transportation regulations.
• Build and maintain positive relationship with customers, vendors and business partners.
• Support employee performance through coaching, recognition, corrective action when necessary.
• Participate in strategist planing and improvement initiatives
• Provide operational support and performing other duties as assigned by the facility manager.
