Job summary

City of Ft. Lupton is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee operations, maintenance, and resource management for all city facilities. You will lead a team of maintenance and custodial personnel, supervise work, and ensure safe, efficient building operations.

Responsibilities include scheduling, budgeting for maintenance, coordinating with contractors, and ensuring preventive maintenance on HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems. Strong supervisory and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have knowledge of general facility maintenance, repairs, custodial techniques, products and procedures.
• Able to supervise and train staff; administer city policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide vision, direction, and supervision of maintenance and custodial staff.
• Develops and evaluates staff performance; ensures safe and efficient work.
• Oversee maintenance, cleaning, repairs of facilities and equipment.
• Schedule and monitor contracts; manage preventative maintenance schedules.
• Maintain inventory and determine replacement/maintenance needs.
• Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and related systems.
• Coordinate with outside contractors for construction, repair, and maintenance.
• Work with grounds department on shared tasks.
• Lead daily cleaning operations and staff performance reviews.
