Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Facilities Manager in Burr Ridge, IL to lead the facilities operations team. You will supervise staff, manage daily activities, coordinate repairs and capital projects, and maintain strong client relationships.

The role requires 3-5 years in facilities management, a valid driver's license, and strong leadership and budgeting skills. Growth opportunities exist within the facilities and property management sector.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of facilities management or related leadership experience.
• Valid driver’s license; Facility Management Certification (FMA/FMP/CFM) preferred.
• Experience staffing, recruiting, coaching, performance management, and retention programs.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with ability to manage sensitive situations and drive team performance.
• Excellent budgeting and financial calculation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide formal supervision to employees including recruiting, hiring, training, coaching, mentoring, and evaluating performance.
• Schedule and manage daily team activities, assign work orders, establish priorities, and cross-train staff.
• Coordinate facility repairs, preventive maintenance, vendors, contractors, and capital improvement projects with cost control.
• Build and maintain client relationships, conduct facility inspections, and ensure regulatory compliance and EH&S programs.
• Prepare and manage operating budgets, variance reports, procurement activities, vendor contracts, and invoicing.
