Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated (JLL) in Atlanta, GA is seeking an Operations Engineer Specialist (Plumbing & Kitchen Equipment) to support maintenance of mechanical and plumbing systems in our facilities. The role involves installing, repairing water pipes, drains, water heaters, backflow devices, and servicing commercial kitchen equipment, with emphasis on safety and CMMS updates.

This position requires hands-on maintenance work in on-site facilities and adherence to building codes and safety

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of experience in general building repair, commercial plumbing and kitchen equipment repair.
• Commercial plumbing experience preferred.
• Experience with commercial kitchen equipment service and repair.
• Knowledge of gas systems and commercial cooking equipment.
• Understanding of refrigeration systems and controls.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair and replace water pipes, fittings and fixtures.
• Clear blockages and hydro-jet drains.
• Repair water heaters, boosters and pressure reducing valves.
• Install and service backflow prevention devices and test.
• Troubleshoot plumbing and kitchen systems.
• Perform soldering and welding for copper and PVC piping.
• Maintain sump/ejector pumps and sewage lift stations.
• Install water supply lines and shut-off valves.
• Inspect and repair commercial kitchen equipment (ovens, ranges, steamers, grills).
• Service refrigeration units and walk-in coolers.
• Repair dishwashers and food waste systems.
