Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated (JLL) is seeking an Operating Engineer on-site in Phoenix, AZ with deep expertise in commercial plumbing, piping, and water distribution. The role requires maintaining and repairing critical facility systems with strong attention to safety and quality standards.
You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot complex plumbing infrastructure, and coordinate with vendors while ensuring compliance with plumbing codes across all facility systems.
Qualifications
- Deep technical expertise in commercial plumbing systems including potable water distribution, sanitary drainage, storm water systems, backflow prevention, water heating equipment, and pumping systems.
- On-site multi-skilled capability across HVAC, electrical, and central utility plant operations.
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing complex commercial plumbing infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Execute preventative maintenance on commercial plumbing systems (domestic water, drainage, backflow devices, water heaters, pumps).
- Troubleshoot and repair potable water lines, waste/vent systems, grease traps, and piping fixtures.
- Monitor water supply, pressures, temperatures, and flow rates; ensure code compliance.
- Perform maintenance on mechanical/HVAC/electrical/central utility systems.
- Review client service summaries and implement corrective actions to prevent leaks and failures.
- Monitor vendor performance and verify deliveries for plumbing components.
