Job summary

Grand Sierra Resort is seeking a Property Operations Assistant Director to oversee facility operations, safety, and maintenance across the hotel complex in Reno. The role requires managing HVAC, electrical and mechanical systems, energy programs, and capital projects to ensure guest satisfaction and profitability.

Responsibilities include budgeting, staff supervision, and ensuring compliance with safety and building codes while maintaining high service standards and efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 years of large property facilities supervisory experience.
• Commercial building maintenance experience in hotel/casino/resort industry is preferred.
• Must have valid driver's license and meet driving requirements.
• Alcohol Awareness card required.

Responsibilities

• Directs and oversees facility functionality and safety per regulations.
• Manage budgeting, scheduling, and capital projects for property rehab and maintenance.
• Maintain energy management and preventive maintenance programs.
• Supervise maintenance staff and daily engineering activities.
• Prepare reports for forecasts, budgets, and energy consumption.
