Job summary

LiveHappy, Inc. is seeking a Director of Facilities to oversee and optimize the organization’s facility operations, infrastructure, and safety programs. The role requires hands-on experience with complex mechanical systems and a strategic mindset to drive long-term improvements.

The successful candidate will lead a facilities team, manage budgets, ensure regulatory compliance, and align projects with company goals while pursuing innovation and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• Hands-on experience with large mechanical systems including chillers and boilers.
• Proven leadership, budgeting, and safety program implementation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of chiller plants, boiler plants, and other mechanical systems.
• Lead safety programs and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Hire, train, and manage a facilities team.
• Develop and manage the facilities budget and cost controls.
• Plan infrastructure upgrades and drive continuous improvement.
• Implement modern automation solutions and technology upgrades.
• Maintain documentation and reporting to upper management.
• Develop emergency preparedness plans and drills.
• Negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers.
• Establish maintenance tracking systems with work orders.
