Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of two (2) years’ maintenance experience.
• Knowledgeable of various mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Knowledgeable of local building codes and ordinances.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and direct maintenance programs.
• Schedule preventive maintenance, repairs, and replacements.
• Inspect equipment/systems regularly for proper functioning and safety.
• Run errands, hand incoming and outgoing freight, and lift/move heavy furniture and equipment.
• Recruit, select, hire, evaluate, train, counsel, and supervise maintenance staff.
• Perform duties as a Maintenance Assistant as needed.
• Effectively manage and operate within budget.
• Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients.
• Assist in the evacuation of patients.
