Job summary

Apploi is seeking an experienced Regional Maintenance Director to oversee multiple long-term care facilities across Massachusetts. You will manage physical plant systems, ensure safety compliance, and support facility teams to maintain safe, efficient environments.

The role requires travel within Massachusetts, strong leadership and communications skills, and a track record in Life Safety Code compliance, preventive maintenance, and coordinating budgets, vendors, and capital projects.

Qualifications

• Extensive long-term care maintenance leadership experience.
• Deep knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems.
• Familiarity with Life Safety Code and survey processes.
• Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills.
• Willingness to travel within Massachusetts.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance operations for multiple facilities.
• Ensure compliance with Life Safety Code and applicable regulations.
• Direct and support facility maintenance teams in preventive maintenance, repairs, and safety inspections.
• Participate in and prepare facilities for state and federal surveys.
• Manage budgets, vendors and capital improvement projects.
