Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical certification or college degree preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required; forklift certification preferred.
• 2 years of facilities coordination/management experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
• Experience coordinating vendors and maintenance activities.
• Knowledge of OSHA and workplace safety standards.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and facilities management or work order systems.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and lead day-to-day facility operations and maintenance.
• Monitor building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, lighting, and security.
• Respond to facility requests and ensure timely issue resolution.
• Assist with office setups, moves, and workspace organization.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance schedules and repair services.
• Manage work orders and track maintenance activities.
• Communicate with vendors, contractors, and service providers.
• Monitor vendor performance and ensure quality services.
• Lead facility inspections, safety audits, and emergency preparedness.
• Maintain facility records, maintenance logs, and compliance documentation.
• Prepare operational reports and maintain facility documentation.
• Facility improvement projects, renovations, and equipment installations.
• Coordinate schedules between departments and contractors.
• Track project timelines and support successful completion.
• May require after-hours support for operational or emergency situations.
