Burnett Specialists Staffing | Recruiting is seeking an Assistant Facilities Manager for a major tech campus in central Austin. You will support operations for two buildings totaling nearly half a million sq ft, partnering with the Facilities Manager and cross-functional teams to maintain a safe, efficient, and high-quality workplace.

The role covers building operations, vendor relationships, preventive maintenance, space planning, security, and incident response, with opportunities to lead

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
• 3–7 years of experience in facilities management or related areas.
• Experience with large, multi-building portfolios.
• Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire/life-safety systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and facility systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist in overall campus management and operation for two buildings.
• Support safe, efficient, professional workplace for employees, clients, and visitors.
• Conduct regular inspections of offices, common areas, spaces and systems.
• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
• Coordinate vendor relationships, service providers, and access control.
