Job summary

Discovery Village Hagen Ranch is seeking a Facilities Operations Assistant to maintain a safe, comfortable, and well-functioning senior living community in Boynton Beach, FL. You’ll support day-to-day maintenance of buildings, grounds, equipment, and vehicles, respond to service requests, and assist with preventive work to keep residents and staff safe and comfortable.

The role offers full-time status, a flexible schedule including every other weekend, and a pay rate of $22.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least one year of maintenance or facilities experience is required.
• Knowledge of building systems including plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and general repairs.
• Understanding of OSHA standards and life safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and light housekeeping across community grounds and buildings.
• Complete service requests for repairs and maintenance of apartments, common areas, equipment, and vehicles promptly and cost-effectively.
• Perform general maintenance tasks including minor plumbing, electrical repairs, painting, and carpentry.
• Assist with HVAC systems as assigned.
• Respond to maintenance emergencies and on-call requests outside scheduled hours.
