Job summary

The University of Georgia Housing Department is seeking an on-campus Facilities Office Assistant to help residents by expediting maintenance and building services requests to resolve issues quickly. The role also involves escorting contractors on campus for inspections and repairs, ensuring access and safety.

The position supports a high quality living environment for students by handling maintenance tasks, creating work orders in AIM, and performing general administrative duties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop an extensive knowledge of maintenance related tasks and delegate these tasks to the right staff member in an appropriate, timely manner.
• Escort contractors and outside vendors to specific work areas. Assist work control manager and work control assistant with key control for contractors and vendors needing access to our buildings.
• Assist with administrative duties
• Create work orders in AIM
• Clean, wash and maintain UGA vehicles and LSV’s.
• Other duties as needed
