Job summary

The Salvation Army is seeking a Facilities Manager for Evangeline Booth Emergency Lodge. This role oversees maintenance, housekeeping, and food services to ensure a safe, clean environment and cost-effective operations.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in operational/building management, 5+ years supervising staff, and a bachelor's degree in business preferred. The position reports to the Program Director and requires exempt, full-time commitment.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of experience of operational/building management.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in staff supervision.

Responsibilities

• The operation, maintenance and repair of building is supervised for 24-hour operation.
• Preventative maintenance programs for mechanical, electrical, and fire safety systems are planned and directed.
• Maintenance issues are investigated and repaired, with outside consultants as needed.
• Maintain safety compliance and report fire hazards; assist in construction and facility projects as needed.
• Budget-conscious recommendations for repairs or purchases within department budgets.
